ABOUT THE MAS:
Southern Mas Associates presentation for Carnival 2017 “A NATIVE GATHERING” is an impressive design of festive type costumes and themes of the Native American Tribes, all relating to happiness, ecstasy and joy. The designer, Roger Ramkissoon, has skillfully blended colours and native themes to produce a truly fantastic presentation in 2017 for the viewing public, and masqueraders, come the 27th and 28th of February 2017, Carnival Monday and Tuesday.
As the Gathering commences, we encourage our masqueraders to totally abandon stress, depression, worry, and engulf the atmosphere of pure happiness, to have an exhilarating, psychological state of pride, and passion, leaving all negatives behind, as they seek, enjoyment, love and happiness.
ABOUT SOUTHERN MAS ASSOCIATES:
We continue to produce high quality costumes for our masqueraders, our
trademark of success thus for; we continue to provide a safe and sound
environment for all, sanitary, transport facilities, and a semi-inclusive band for our
members, both local and foreign, friends, families of Southern Mas Associates.
To the spectators and bystanders etc, we hope that all enjoy our presentation,
and that it brings a degree of joy, satisfaction, to all. Despite all odds, we
continue to strive for excellence, and pledge to continue producing high quality
presentation for the viewing public in the city of San Fernando.
